General Botany is a lecture-laboratory course designed to familiarize the student with basic botany principles related to the fundamental structure of plants and their economic importance. Concepts examined include plant reproduction, the scientific method, photosynthesis,genetics, and ecology. The basic processes and features of vascular and nonvascular plants; photosynthesis; heredity; morphology are also surveyed in this lab science course for non-science majors.
