A lecture course covering the subject matter of the first semester of general chemistry. No laboratory practice is required. This course offering is contingent upon a 19 on ACT and enrolled or have taken, MS 123 (MATH 1103), College Algebra, prior approval of both instructor and Dean.

High school algebra and departmental approval.
