Students are expected to attend all classes regularly and punctually. At the beginning of each semester, instructors will provide a written statement outlining the specific attendance requirements for their course. It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of and comply with the instructor’s attendance policy and to communicate with the instructor regarding any missed work.
Instructors will notify a student’s advisor if the student is in danger of exceeding the allowed number of absences, so appropriate contact can be made. If a student exceeds the number of absences permitted, the instructor may remove the student from the class roster with a grade of “W” by electronic notification to the Admissions Office.
