This course allows students hands on experience with hairstyling, manicuring, and aesthetics to combine the advanced theoretical concepts with practical applications using mannequins and lab demonstrations. Students receive instruction and supervised experience to enhance learning opportunities and reinforce cosmetology skills. Students demonstrate advancement by completion of required practical and clinical activities. This course prepares students to take the cosmetology licensing exam given by the Arkansas Department of Health-Cosmetology section.
