MMT 101/MSTE 10131: Forklift Certification

This is a 1-hour credit course designed to prepare students for a certification in forklift driving. This OSHA compliant course can be offered for credit or non-credit and is an industry-based skill. Students will learn how to safely operate a forklift, how to perform daily maintenance and inspections of the forklift, recognize potential hazards involving forklift operation, and demonstrate how to handle heavy loads keeping the forklift stable.
