OT 123/HIMT 12303: Medical Terminology II
This course is a continuation of OT 113/HIMT 11303.
OT 133/BUSI 11003: Keyboarding/Document Processing
Emphasis will be placed on speedbuilding, along with practice on the numeric keypad.This course will also include an introduction to formatting letters, reports, and tables using Microsoft Word.
OT 153/HIMT 15303: Introduction to Medical Coding (fall semester)
This course is designed to give students a basic introduction to coding in medical offices.
OT 203/HIMT 20303: Electronic Health Records
This course is designed to familiarize students with the capabilities of an Electronic Health Records program. Students will use a computer program to maintain patient files, schedule appointments, store treatment information, enter diagnosis with procedures to locate medical codes for billing, and submit claims to an insurance company.
OT 223/BUSI 22353: Administrative Support Procedures
Emphasis is placed on administrative practices and procedures used in a business office. Topics include personal development, interpersonal relations, customer service, telephone techniques, filing, and business etiquette. (CEP students may enroll).

OT 1033/BUSI 14353: Introduction to Keyboarding
Students will learn to operate the keyboard by touch, learn the proper use of the microcomputer, and begin development of speed, accuracy, and fluency in the keying of drills, exercises, and timings. (CEP students may enroll)
