Community Service and Continuing Education are vital outreach components of PCCUA. Through these programs, individuals have opportunities to engage in educational, cultural, professional, and recreational experiences that enhance personal and community growth.
Community Service and Continuing Education programs are designed to:
- Provide continuing education opportunities for individuals seeking to upgrade existing skills or explore new career pathways.
- Offer cultural and enrichment experiences that enhance the quality of life within the community.
- Support business, industry, and professional organizations by supplementing their employee training and development initiatives.
Programs are offered year-round to meet the evolving needs of the community. These may include short seminars, workshops, semester-long courses, or extended certificate and diploma programs. In addition to classes, the College offers other services to the community. College personnel are available to serve as speakers for business, professional, civic, educational, and social organizations.
All Community Service and Continuing Education classes are open to the public, with no formal educational prerequisites required for participation.
