To be admitted to Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA), applicants must complete the following steps:
- Application for Admission
Complete an online application for admission, available at https://www.pccua.edu/apply-now/. - Official Transcripts
Submit an official high school transcript showing the date of graduation or provide official GED scores showing the date of successful completion. Students who have attended other colleges must also submit official transcripts from all institutions previously attended. - Immunization Records
Students born after January 1, 1957, must provide proof of two (2) MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers.
- Serologic testing is acceptable for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella. Individuals with documented immunity to any of these diseases through serological testing are not required to receive additional vaccination for that disease.
- A copy of the serological test must be submitted to the Arkansas Department of Health, Immunization Section, along with a letter requesting acceptance of the test as proof of immunity.
- Following review, the Department of Health will issue a letter of approval or denial. Students receiving approval should submit a copy of the letter to PCCUA, where it will be placed in the student’s permanent file. Denied students must complete the required immunizations or request an exemption.
