Advising

Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is committed to supporting students’ academic success and personal development. The College provides resources, guidance, and individualized success plans to help students clarify personal goals and identify the most effective strategies for achieving them.

PCCUA’s advisement process also encourages career and self-exploration. Trained advisors offer general information and professional expertise to assist students in making informed academic and career decisions.

Students are typically assigned to advisors based on their program of study. Those who are uncertain about their career goals or choice of program are assigned to a professional advisor on their campus. Once students have clarified their career plans, they are reassigned to an advisor within their chosen program of study.
