Federal regulations governing all Title IV federal and campus-based financial aid programs—including the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), and Federal Work-Study (FWS)—require that institutions monitor each student’s academic progress toward completion of a degree or certificate.
To maintain eligibility for federal financial aid, students must complete their program requirements within a reasonable period of time and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, as defined by the College’s Satisfactory Academic Progress policy.
