Students may repeat a course to improve their grade point average (GPA). Upon completion of the repeated course, the higher grade will be used in the GPA calculation for that course only. Both the original and repeated courses, along with their respective grades, will appear on the student’s transcript. Credit hours excluded from GPA calculation will be indicated by an asterisk (*). An “R” will be posted on the transcript for repeated courses. Students should consult with their advisor to verify allowable course repetitions.
