Residency Requirements

A legal resident of Phillips or Arkansas County is a person who has lived within either county for the previous six consecutive months. An out-of-district resident is a person who has lived in Arkansas for the previous six consecutive months but resides outside Phillips or Arkansas County. Students residing in the bordering states of Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas are classified as out-of-district. A non-Arkansas resident is a person who has not lived in Arkansas for the previous six consecutive months. 
Members of the Armed Services and their dependents may qualify for in-state residency if they meet certain conditions listed in University of Arkansas System Board Policy 520.7. For more information, contact admissisons@pccua.edu
