Respect for other students’ right to learn and instructors’ right to teach is essential. Instructors have the right and obligation to address disruptive behavior, which may include directing a student to leave the classroom. Students removed from class may return only after meeting with the Vice Chancellor for Student Services and Campus Life or the campus Vice Chancellor for Arkansas County. Serious or unresolved disciplinary issues may result in suspension (temporary dismissal) or expulsion (permanent dismissal) from a class or the College, depending on the nature of the offense.
